A short vacation in Seattle

We managed a few days in Seattle with friends and family.  Because of one of Ailsa’s posts in Where’s My Backpack, I had to see the Seattle Central Library.  Wow!  10 stories high, interesting architecture, glowing escalators, and of course a large inventory.  We also went to Tacoma’s Museum of Glass.  It was too late to see the museum, but there was an interesting display outside the gift shop.  The bridge was impressive, the wall on one side held a large enclosed display of Chihuly glass, at one end the ceiling held many pieces of glass, and there were 2 large glass sculptures outside.  Altogether very interesting!
